Due to the pandemic, we have made some changes to our produce pick-up procedures. We are doing everything possible to protect our shareholders and employees. Here are some of the steps we are taking:
We have been and will continue to practice social distancing.
The weekly produce will be pre-bagged (in paper bags) for each shareholder. Your share will be in a new paper bag each week. We will not be able to recycle your paper bags, but please do so at home.
Reusable bags will not be allowed until further notice. We do have the 2020 reusable produce bags for you when it is deemed safe to use them.
Gloves and masks will be worn while harvesting, washing, and bagging the produce.
Washing of the vegetables will be minimal to limit contact as much as possible. Please wash your produce thoroughly when you get home.
U-pick items, such as strawberries, will be picked in advance and distributed with the weekly shares. Herbs will be available in limited quantities, and we will let you know what is available. Please let us know what you would want two days before your normal pick-up. We will pick the herbs for you.
We will not be able to accept compost at this time.
Following is the procedure that will be used for pick-ups at the Farm and Epworth Crossing at least through the month of May. We will keep you informed of the plans beyond May.
Each shareholder will receive a window cling at or before the first pick-up. These are to be placed in your vehicle, in the front, passenger side of your windshield. This will allow the Seton Harvest staff to quickly identify whether you are picking up a Full or Partial share.
When you arrive at pick-up, you will be asked to follow the “Enter” signs and line your vehicle up in a single file. Produce will be delivered carousel-style. A Seton Harvest staff member will place your bag of produce in the front, passenger side of your vehicle. Another staff member will check your name off the pick-up list. You will then be directed by the “Exit signs.
If someone else will be picking up your share, we must be informed at least 48 hours prior to pick up.
For the safety of everyone, we will not be able to utilize volunteers at the Farm or during pick-ups until further notice.
We ask for your patience as we all adjust to these new procedures during the next few weeks. If you have questions, please contact Julie or Joe. Thank you for your cooperation.

2020 Pick Up Guide
Window clings should be placed on the inside, bottom, passenger-side of your windshield.
Refer to the maps below. Please form a single line in the driveway and proceed in the direction of the arrows. When it’s your turn to pick up, do not exit your vehicle. A Seton Harvest staff member will bring the produce to you and place it in the passenger side of your vehicle.
Depending on the number of people who arrive at the same time, we may need to adjust the traffic flow. Please drive safely and remember to follow the arrows.
